Unicode support

Unicode characters are now supported in input data and in exported data. This improves language compatibility.

Here is an example of Unicode characters in a document:
 

File transfers can now be created also for data that contains Unicode characters. Earlier, the character set selection included only Ansi, Dos, and Unix. Now, if the data contains Unicode characters, the file can be created with Utf‑8 (with or without a Byte Order Mark (BOM)).

Limitations:
 
  • PDF output has some limitations for Unicode support because of font constraints.
  • The application does not fully support right to left text, logographic languages such as Chinese and Japanese, or scripts with complex shaping such as Arabic or Indic scripts. Characters in these languages may not display correctly
