A new Total Discount Opportunity metric is now available in the Invoice Data Discovery Pro dashboard. This metric shows the total discount amount associated with invoices in the selected time period, providing a complete view of the discount opportunity available across your invoice population.
What's new?
The new metric calculates the total discount amount available on invoices regardless of whether the discount was:
- Captured
- Missed
- Still available
Unlike the existing Maximum Available Discount metric, Total Discount Opportunity does not evaluate the current discount status. Instead, it represents the original discount potential associated with the selected invoices.

- Compare discount opportunity against captured and missed discounts.
