Ensure Touchless KPIs reflect actual manual effort.
We've updated the Touchless KPI calculation to improve how SmartPDF Self-Validation invoices are classified in Insights.
What's changed?
Previously, SmartPDF Self-Validation invoices could be classified as touchless if no manual actions occurred after the invoice entered AP.
With this enhancement, SmartPDF Self-Validation invoices are treated as manual invoices because they undergo a manual validation step before entering the AP process. As a result, they are no longer considered touchless in receiving or end-to-end touchless calculations.
Business value
This change aligns Touchless KPIs more closely with the actual invoice process and ensures that manual validation effort is accurately reflected in automation metrics.
Impact
The updated logic is applied across Insights dashboards that use Touchless KPIs, including performance and CFO Cockpit views. Historical figures are recalculated using the updated definition to ensure consistent reporting.
