Previously, when purchasing categories had allowed suppliers set in Data Management > Purchase > Purchasing categories, choosing a category in a purchase document would filter the valid suppliers available for selection. If you only knew the supplier, it was challenging to determine the valid categories for it. Now, selecting a specific supplier also filters the valid categories for that supplier, making it easier to view only the applicable categories to choose from.
