Release: August 2026
Basware Purchase now applies currency-specific decimal precision to monetary values shown in purchase requisition, purchase order, and goods receipt documents. Amounts are rounded using the correct number of decimals per currency, improving clarity and accuracy—especially for currencies without two decimal places. This reduces confusion, builds trust in displayed amounts, and supports global purchasing with currency-aware behavior.
Why it matters:
Consistent, currency-specific rounding prevents confusion, reduces manual checks, and improves trust in monetary values—especially in multi-currency scenarios.
What's new:
Rounding precision is configurable per currency, with each currency assigned its own scale (e.g., 2 decimals for EUR, 0 for JPY).
Who benefits:
- Organizations who create and process purchasing documents in different currencies
- Buyers, requisitioners, approvers, and anyone needing precise purchasing information
Where to find it:
Applied across purchase requisition, purchase order, and goods receipt documents details in Basware Purchase, with additional control available through currency and screen configuration settings.
