The new More Options page helps users find alternative purchasing options when Marketplace search does not return the desired results. When no matching products are found, or when the available results do not meet the user's needs, Marketplace provides access to a More Options page containing alternative request options, such as Free-Text Forms and Item Templates, configured by administrators. Users can select the most appropriate option and continue their purchasing journey without leaving Marketplace.
Why It Matters
Users do not always find the exact product or service they need through Marketplace search. For example, a search for a specialized service may not return a suitable result. More Options helps users discover alternative purchasing paths, making it easier to submit requests and continue the procurement process when standard catalog search results are not sufficient.
What's New
Marketplace now provides alternative purchasing options that can be presented when users cannot find suitable products through search. Administrators can define up to five approved options per view using Item templates and Free-text forms, helping guide users toward the most appropriate purchasing path. For example, a user searching for a specialized service may be directed to a Service Request form, while a user searching for an operational need such as electricity outage, building maintenance, or waste management can be presented with an Item Template containing supplier and purchasing information. When no search results are found, these options are displayed automatically on the More Options page. Users can also access the same alternatives through the Can't find it? link available on search results pages when the displayed results do not meet their needs.

Where to Find It

To configure alternative purchasing options, go to Marketplace Views > View Details > Default Items.

To access alternative purchasing options during search, go to Marketplace Search Results and click Cannot find it? when available.
When no matching search results are found, configured alternative purchasing options are displayed automatically within the Marketplace search experience in More options page.
