Agenda Overview

Start your day with coffee, conversation, and the chance to connect with peers across the Polish finance and AP community.

A warm welcome to Basware’s first-ever Poland Customer Event. We’ll walk through the agenda and share what’s in store across the next six hours, from product strategy and compliance to hands-on workshops and future trends.

Gustav Gnosspelius presents the latest Compliance Report developed with the Financial Times, highlighting how regulatory pressure is evolving into a strategic lever for finance teams. The session also covers key upcoming e-invoicing mandates, with a focus on developments in Poland and across Europe. Expect a clear view of what’s changing, what’s expected, and how leading organizations are preparing.

Gustav continues the conversation on compliance and is joined by Simona Bencurikova (Amerigas) and Bianca Dinca (Danone) for a practical discussion on how global finance teams are preparing for the upcoming Polish KSeF mandate. The panel will explore how organizations are integrating local compliance requirements into global P2P strategies, using regulatory change to streamline processes. Expect actionable insights grounded in real-world experience.

Jorg Schramm and Steven Saunders present a focused update on key product innovations across the Basware platform. The session covers new additions to Invoice Lifecycle Management, introduces how Guardian for AP supports compliance needs, and includes a live demonstration of the latest InvoiceAI capabilities. It concludes with a look at recent updates to Basware Insights and how customers are using them to drive performance and visibility.

This 30-minute main-stage session is shaped by direct input from the Basware community. Instead of a full walkthrough, we will focus on practical, underused features in both the Essentials and Pro versions of Basware Insights. These are tools that can help you turn AP data into action.

You will see how peers are using these capabilities to unlock hidden value, improve visibility, and support smarter decisions across their teams. This Masterclass is about enabling your success with Insights where it matters most.

These interactive workshops will give participants the opportunity to explore two key topics shaping the future of accounts payable.

The Journey to Touchless
This session will focus on what “touchless” means for AP teams today and what it could become. Customers will discuss expected hurdles and potential breakthroughs in removing manual steps from the invoice workflow. The conversation will cover upstream and downstream barriers, challenges specific to Network-only users, and opportunities to improve data visibility and exception handling. Participants will define useful metrics for tracking progress and outline what a fully touchless AP experience could look like.

The Future of AI in AP
This session will explore how AI is expected to impact AP in the coming years. Discussions will cover which pain points AI could address, how to ensure data quality in AI-driven decisions, and ways to apply AI for exception prediction and AP assurance. The group will also consider how AI could shift day-to-day responsibilities, what new skills AP professionals may need, and how to maintain control as automation expands.

Søren Løgstrup moderates a focused discussion with Bartek Mielczarek (Pandora) and Sari Berglund (Deloitte) on how technology is enabling the next wave of automation in Shared Services and Global Business Services. This session will explore how leading teams are designing for touchless outcomes, integrating intelligent automation into invoice workflows, and scaling solutions across complex system landscapes. Expect insight into architecture choices, exception handling strategies, and the role of data and governance in making touchless finance a reality.

A final thank you for being part of our first Polish Customer Event and wrap of the key themes discussed throughout the day.

Before you head off, join us for an informal networking session. Enjoy light refreshments, exchange ideas with peers, and connect directly with Basware experts to continue the day’s conversations in a relaxed setting.
